The Foundation for Air Medical Research and Education
(FARE) is always on the lookout for good people...individuals to help
us accomplish our research and education initiatives!
Grant
Committee
Grant reviewers - review and evaluate all grant applications.
Reviewers will assist the grant committee in making decisions on
FARE grant awards. For your planning purposes, this process takes
place during February and March.
Fundraising Committee
Major gift ambassador - assist FARE in identifying new
donors around the country and raising major gifts to support the
Foundation's important work.
Golf Tournament Sub-Committee - assist
in securing sponsorships and/or help to run the tournament on-site
at the AMTC.
FARE is looking ahead to the '09 AMTC in San Jose for a more predictable climate. We'd love to
hear from you if you are interested in helping out for the 2009 Golf
Tournament.
Education
Committee
Scholarship reviewers - the duties include reviewing and evaluating
all scholarship applications. Reviewers will assist the education
committee in making decisions on FARE scholarship funding.
Outreach
Committee
Assist in producing pieces such as the white paper (Air Medicine:
Accessing the Future of Healthcare) to promote the benefits of air
medical and critical care transport. Helps to identify opportunities
for reach out to the public.
